Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have actually been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying medicines via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
"These kinds of products being offered, normally online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
"You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not know the result drugs like this might have on your health."
