Blue Northern Energy is renewing the biodiesel industry. BNE's mission is to create a sustainable and profitable biofuel production industry throughout the United States. BNE combines the most recent innovation advances, refining processes and ingenious minds to establish sustainable and lucrative biodiesel production centers. BNE provides guidance and solutions to services and communities in their ventures to develop new biodiesel production centers or retrofitting existing facilities to make them sustainable and profitable. Through its work and know-how BNE, distinguishes itself as the leader in the renewable resource field.

Blue Northern Energy (BNE) has acquired an unique innovation for producing biodiesel fuel. The Quicksilver Biodiesel Technology (QSB) is a constant biodiesel production process by the trans-esterification of veggie oils. Multiple feedstocks might be utilized, allowing the most affordable expense feedstocks to be utilized. The capability to modify the process constantly, as the feedstocks change by regulating the other reactants to the process instead of altering batch recipes, makes it an extremely flexible and more efficient process. The procedure also allows a reduction in capital cost of up to 40% and a reduction in running expense through expense of as much as 30%. These benefits of the technology have been confirmed through a 3rd party evaluation completed by the Center for Process Innovation.

The QSB innovation has been extensively tested at the pilot plant in Budapest, Hungary. Feedstocks from Europe as well as the USA have been demonstrated, both separately in addition to blends.

Developing and improving the technology is a high top priority for BNE, and fundamental to our global growth strategies. In order to support this, BNE will be establishing a brand-new Innovation Center situated beside the first biodiesel plant in Newton, Illinois. The center will have the ability to demonstrate future feedstock processing and carry out extensive fuel quality measurements for BNE plants and experimental samples.

It is the administrator of the BN National Trail center from conceptualization, development, construction to management. This center exhibits the innovative innovation of BNE and production procedure that used several crops, edible and non-edible, for sustainable, high quality and profitable biodiesel production.

BNE's personnel will increase to support this technology program. A senior chemical procedure expert will be employed to carry out mass and energy balance estimations and develop the chemical process for advanced feedstocks.
